What’s the cost of a VFP?
There is no cost to get a VFP. It is completely free.
What does the VFP include?
The VFP includes an accurate 3D virtual tour, property measurements, 2D floor plans, plus before and after high-resolution project photos.
Does the VFP technician need to enter my home?
Our VFP technicians need to scan the interior of your home to collect the total sq ft of your property. These measurements let us know how large we can construct in terms of ADUs and give us a clear layout to create floor plans.
What does a VFP appointment look like?
During your VFP appointment, one of our VFP technicians will visit your home to scan all interior and exterior areas of your property. The scan takes between 45 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes.
How can I get a VFP appointment?
You can schedule a VFP appointment here at any time. However, we ask that you select a date and time that works best for you.
How long will I be able to view my VFP report?
Your VFP will be live for 60 days. After 60 days, we archive your virtual floor plan for when you decide to renovate or start a second project with us.
Who has access to the VFP?
Your scan is solely for the purpose of in-house use. Therefore, no scans are shared with the city.
Will I need to get a VFP every time I start a renovation project?
Every home project at Multitaskr begins with a VFP. If you have completed a project before with Multitaskr, you will not need to schedule another VFP. Your VFP can be pulled from our archive.
What happens after the VFP appointment?
Once you’ve completed the VFP appointment, your Home Solutions Expert shares the scan with our in-house estimators and architects. Then, 7-10 business days later, your Home Solutions Expert will contact you to present a project estimate.
Do you offer VFPs nationwide?
We currently offer VFPs in the following states, California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Texas and Ohio. If you would like a virtual floor plan but do not live in these areas, please email hello@gomultitaskr.com, and we’d be happy to assist you.
